⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tom has a very firm grasp of comedic tools that I never knew existed until I started working with him (taken his In-person Workshop multiple times). Not only will he help you elevate and punch-up your jokes and get you to see them from a point of view that you never considered, but he will also be there to serve as a guide and a coach to help you navigate the journey of stand-up comedy. I’m truly grateful that I found him. He’s the real deal!

what is it?

It’s an intermediate workshop built for serious, aspiring comedians ready to take their game to the next level.

It combines supportive in-person group workouts with personalized one-on-one coaching for maximum growth.

Held in-person in New York City, spots are limited—so if you’re committed to getting better, don’t wait to reach out!

When Tom was working to become a professional comedian, three things made a huge difference in his progress:

1️⃣ Weekly “workout rooms” with committed peers—more structured and productive than open mics, where he could get constructive feedback from an experienced pro.

2️⃣ Weekly 1-on-1 writing sessions with a mentor—someone who could help him build the instincts of a pro and elevate his writing to a whole new level.

3️⃣ A monthly “low pressure” show—a well-attended, real audience but without the eyes of club bookers—just a gig to take risks and grow.

These three elements are at the heart of this workshop. They helped Tom build REAL momentum—and they can do the same for you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Working with Tom Eschelman has been a complete game changer. Tom is a comic's comic..a teacher's teacher...in the years since I have been in the business, I have never come across someone as dedicated to his craft and to helping others as Tom. I went from a meandering comic storyteller to having an authentic comedic set in a matter of weeks (In-person Workshop). I am now more confident when I perform. Tom wants you to be better than good...he wants you to soar with your comedic voice and his well-placed guidance.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Before this workshop, I always created my stand-up material by trying to “be funny” or trying to be clever and witty. Through Tom’s workshop I learned that instead of forcing punchlines, I can actually craft comedy that reflects my real emotions and raw truths of my experiences. Not only do I feel much more connected to what I am saying on stage, but I am also getting much bigger and more consistent laughs during my sets. I highly recommend Tom’s workshop to anyone looking to grow in stand-up comedy!”
